Baby dedication

Today we had Kid Weekend at our church. They had bounce houses, a fire truck, popcorn, and cotton candy. We also had a baby dedication service and we were able to dedicate Addie's life to the Lord. Brianna was still sick, and since she wouldn't eat or drink at all, Jason took her to the doctor this morning. She has strep and she had to have her throat swaped, and she was very upset about it. My mom took her to get her prescription filled while Jason came home to pick up Addie and me for church. I felt so bad that Bri missed all the fun at church, but she was able to rest all afternoon and she is feeling so much better now. These are just a few pictures from this morning.

Happy Anniversary!

I just wanted to wish a Happy 6th Anniversary to my sweet husband! We went to Texas de Brazil, our favorite restaurant, for dinner last night. We had nice quiet dinner and then we went straight home, because poor Brianna was sick. I love you Jason!!!!!!!!!!!

Zoo Trip

Because I didn't feel like our week was going to be busy enough with last days of school, I decided to throw in a trip to the zoo. It actually ended up being a great day! The weather was perfect, and the zoo wasn't too crowded, even though it was half price day. Sorry, there are a lot of pictures to follow, and I really did narrow it down! Checking out the monkeys.

Brianna always has to get an animal sipper filled with fruit punch. This was Addie's first trip where she was able to enjoy one, and she LOVED IT! She was covered in it, but she was a very happy girl.

She has recently started to prop her feet up on the tray of her stroller. It does not look comfortable to me at all, but if I try to move her foot down, she just puts them right back up.

You can't see very well with the glare from the glass, but there is a huge gorilla on the other side.

Brianna's favorite exhibit is the flamingos. We always go to the monkeys first, but the flamingos have to be the next stop.

For some reason Brianna felt the kangaroo should wear her hat.

Addison stayed awake as long as she could, but she finally just passed out.

Brianna loved watching the calf drink the bottle.

We ran into Tristan, one of Brianna's friends from school, and they were able to play together for awhile in the barn exhibit.

Addison had the best time pushing the audio buttons for the animals. Every time you push the button it makes the animal's noise. Her favorite was the pig.

Looking at herself in the mirror was her second favorite thing to do.

I thought this was a cute picture of the girls, but I didn't realize has cut off the alligators nose!

Sitting on the wagon.

Brianna named her horse on the merry-go-round "Brianna"!

I tried to take a picture of Addison and me on the merry-go-round.

Preschool Graduation

Brianna graduated from preschool on Tuesday. I know I say this a lot about my girls, but they just keep growing so fast. It does not feel like she should be big enough to be graduating. She has gone to the same preschool since she was a year old. It has been a wonderful place for her, and because I work there I have always been able to check in on her during her day, and I have always known her teachers really well. I was so sad and so excited all at the same time! I am sad that I will be dropping her off at school everyday, and I will not be there to see how her day is going and give her a quick hug. But Brianna was feeling so excited, grown-up, and special at graduation, that I couldn't help feeling excited for her. I know that she is only going to Kindergarten, not of to College, and I know that I have placed Brianna's life in God's hands, and I also know I need to trust Him to take care of her in the big bad world. I just feel like, because this day came so fast, that the next thing I know, she is going to be walking out the door with car keys in her hands! Okay, if I am feeling like this now, how am I going to be on the first day of Kindergarten? I think I am going to be a basket case! Doesn't she look so cute in her cap?

Mommy, Daddy, and Brianna.

A big hug from Daddy!

Brianna and her friend Megan.

Brianna's teachers-Mrs. Pam and Mrs. Sandra. They were great this year!

I love this picture of her! She looks so sweet!

Getting her diploma from Mrs. Pam!

The last three picture are from the performance for the parents.

CONGRATULATIONS BRIANNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mother's Day

I know I am a little late with this post, but this week was really busy. I had a great Mother's day weekend. Saturday we went to my mother-in-law's for a cook out. Uncle Kirk got a new toy and took some of us for a ride.
Mimi and Addison-she is so close to walking.

Mimi, Addie, and Lauren.

Brianna riding Uncle Kirk's Harley. I can't believe how excited she was about riding!

Sunday after church, we took a long nap, which was soooo nice. Sunday night we went to eat with my side of the family at Joe's crab shack. The kids all played on the playground. It was a little loud, but we still had fun.

Nana and all the grand kids.

Me and my sweet girls.

Tea Party

Addison got a tea set for her birthday, and both the girls love playing with it together.
